We’re moving production of this product in-house, which required us to change bottle production from glass to plastic. (Our production model doesn’t support glass components.)

Does plastic use less energy than glass?
Yes! Making glass jars requires a lot more energy during the manufacturing process than producing plastic jars.
I noticed the new plastic jar is shorter than the glass jar, why is that?
Our plastic jar is slightly smaller in height because of the thinner plastic material.
Is the plastic jar safe for consumers?
Yes, it’s safer compared to glass. Since plastic jars aren’t breakable, there’s no risk of cuts or broken glass if dropped. This also helps improve safety at our manufacturing sites and reduces both injury risk for employees and food safety concerns related to glass breakage.
Will my coffee taste different because of the packaging change?
Nope! You can expect the same delicious Café Bustelo taste you know and love.
