Abisinia, El Cua, is a coffee-growing community in the Department of Jinotega in Nicaragua. Residents of Abisinia, where the Rubén Darío School is located, have limited access to the basic resources that many of us take for granted, such as safe drinking water and electricity.

 

 As a company that celebrates our origins, we strive to help support quality education in our communities. So, we′ve teamed up with the non-profit Seeds for Progress Foundation to improve the Ruben Darío School’s infrastructure, access to technology and teacher training. Café Bustelo® has donated $100,000 to help fund the improvements.
